Little pump is a BEAST!

This pump is a BEAST! LOOK NO FURTHER. Have it for 3+ years and its still going strong. May get another one, since this one is working so well.

 Abused, but she still loved me back

Bought this in August 2021 as a new pool owner to get excess water out of my pool after heavy rains, and ultimately to pump water off the cover in the winter. Lost track of how many times I left it in the cover to get frozen over. Forgot to check and it had been pumping dry for a while. Just outside all year, ready, willing, and able to take on the next assignment with speed and even a few leaves in the filter. Still worked like a charm. Then, I thought I could get away with using it to help draw off the water from skimming our boiler, and she put up a valiant effort for a while before succumbing to water nearing 200°. (Rated for no more than 120°!) My new one arrives today, I couldn't go that long without it and refuse to pick another brand due to its durability and ability to stand up to the elements.

 Excellent sump pump

I have 3 sump pumps in my house. Living in northern Ohio, we have been seeing a lot of rain. I found 2 out of 3 sump pumps were not working. Ultimately, the outside wiring receptacle was shot and was replaced. The inside sump pump was over 25 years old. I did the research and found the Superior sump pump with the tethered switch was almost identical as the one I was replacing. I upgraded the rubber connectors and had this pump completely install in less than 1 hour. The height of the discharge water had to go was 8 feet. This pump quietly turned on when prompted and had no issues getting the water up the 8 feet.
The pump is a heavy duty 1/3 hp cast iron pump with a tethered float switch. The pump is solid and built to last a long time. If I can get at least 15 years out of this, I would have gotten my money back and then some. For the price, $130.00, it is definitely a superior pump.

Pump works beautifully for irrigation

I needed a replacement pump for a Flotec that I had that simply wore out. The flotec was a great pump, but I wanted something with a little more umph, so I tried this model. I've been running it now for at least 6 weeks for about 9 hours a day. No problems -- very happy with it.

Purchase this pump about a month ago. Installed it on a filtration system and it is working very good will purchase again
